About Glad Movement
Glad Movement is where joy, strength, and community collide. As a dynamic and inclusive movement facility, we specialize in ninja warrior training, gymnastics, parkour, and purposeful play. Our team is committed to sparking confidence, creativity, and resilience in participants of all agesâstarting with our tiniest movers.
We believe that movement should be magical, and that learning to leap, roll, and climb is just as important as learning to listen, try again, and shine in your own way.
đ About the Role: Mini Movers Coach
Weâre looking for high-energy, kind-hearted, kid-loving humans to lead our under-5s programsâincluding Mini Warriors, Tiny Glad Stars, and Movement Warriors. These classes are all about movement, imagination, sensory fun, and building BIG skills in little bodies (with grown-ups cheering from the sidelines…or right beside them!).
Whether youâre high-fiving a toddlerâs first tumble or supporting a preschoolerâs proud independence, youâll play a key role in shaping their confidence and love for movement.
đȘ Responsibilities
- Deliver high-energy, joyful classes for kids aged 1â5 (and their grown-ups)
- Follow our structured play-based curriculum and weekly lesson plans
- Foster a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels seen and supported
- Model clear instructions, kindness, and plenty of patience
- Help children develop gross motor skills, balance, coordination, and spatial awareness through fun, imaginative activities
- Communicate with families in a warm, professional manner
- Adapt lessons for different learning needs, especially for our neurodiverse ninjas
- Assist with equipment set-up and pack-down, keeping the space tidy and welcoming
- Work collaboratively with fellow coaches to bring the âGladâ energy into every session
â
You Might Be Our Perfect Mini Movers Coach If You:
- LOVE working with children and have experience in early childhood, education, fitness, or recreation settings
- Bring enthusiasm, warmth, and a sprinkle of silliness to your sessions
- Understand child development, including the importance of play, routine, and emotional safety
- Feel confident leading group activities with both kids and their grown-ups
- Are calm under pressure, quick to adapt, and ready to get moving!
- Are available for consistent weekly shifts and weekend shifts
- Hold (or are willing to obtain) a valid Working with Children Check, First Aid & CPR Certification
Â
đ Perks of the Role:
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
- Free access to our adult classes + staff discounts
- Ongoing training and mentorship in movement education
- Opportunity to grow within a vibrant, values-driven community
- You get to help build confident, strong, happy kids… every single week!
đ Letâs Move, Together.
Even if this exact role isnât listed as âopen,â we hire the right people when they show up. If youâre passionate about movement, magic, and making a difference, apply anyway. We might just have the perfect spot for you in the Glad family.
