The Ninja Legend Series is BACK for 2026 — and we’re kicking things off with one of Glad Movement’s own rising leaders in ninja… ⚡ Coach Matt Ridley ⚡

Designed for athletes of all ages and experience levels, the Ninja Legend Series is more than just a competition. It’s an opportunity for athletes to challenge themselves, build confidence, connect with the ninja community, and learn directly from the next generation of coaches and course creators shaping the sport in Australia. 👊

🔥 MEET YOUR FIRST NINJA LEGEND FOR 2026 🔥

Matt Ridley is one of Glad’s junior ninja coaches, active competitors, and creative minds behind many of the obstacles and movement concepts seen throughout our courses. Deeply involved within the Australian ninja community through coaching, competing, mentoring and course design, Matt understands exactly what it takes to perform under pressure — both physically and mentally. ⚡

Known for his calm leadership style, approachable nature, and wildly creative obstacle ideas, Matt brings a unique energy to every event he runs. He’s the kind of ninja who sees movement differently to everyone else — always finding new, fun, and unexpected ways to attack a course. 🚀

But for Matt, ninja goes far beyond strength and speed.

His coaching philosophy strongly focuses on mindset, movement efficiency, breathing control and course visualisation — because the best runs start in the mind first. 🧠

⚡ NEW FOR 2026 ⚡

This event will also introduce a brand-new LEVEL-BASED competition format instead of traditional age-only divisions.

As Glad Movement begins developing what may become Australia’s first Ninja Level System (and potentially one of the first structured systems in the world 🌏), athletes will be grouped based on skill level, progression and ability to create more supportive, exciting and development-focused competition experiences.

Rather than simply competing against age, we want athletes progressing through clear ninja pathways that encourage growth, confidence and long-term success within the sport. 💥

🧒 WHO CAN ENTER?

Ages 4 years through to Adults welcome.

Athletes will be placed into levels based on experience and ability.

💰 ENTRY FEE:
$50.00 per entry

📌 IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

⏰ Registrations close 10 days prior to the event.

📋 Run orders and session times will be released during the week leading into competition weekend.

🌙 Saturday sessions will commence after 1:30pm as afternoon/evening sessions.

☀️ Sunday sessions will commence from 9:00am.

🔥 Depending on athlete numbers, divisions may run across both days. Please keep both dates available where possible.

🛡️ Courses are designed with progression, creativity, challenge and safety at the forefront.
